Using YouTube in Our Classes

I have been using YouTube to liven things up a bit. Here is something perhaps of interest... 

3rd Week attendance: What do I do with Folks who've never posted, but who are lurking?
Mood:  quizzical

What do you report for a student who you can tell has logged in, checked it out, but hasn't posted a single (required and optional)response to anything?

My impulse is to say never attended, and report unsatisfactory attendance --
I've also emailed them and tried to light a fire beneath, but to no avail.

It's a wee bit lackluster here in my class--only 7 or so contributing.

You TOO can make your own posts--you have to sign in to Tripod first

Hi All -- If you want to be able to create new posts (instead of just replying to these I put up), spellcheck, and mess around with formatting, sign up for free membership, via tripod.com. This blog will remain Ad-free because I pay 5 bucks a month for my webpages, but you pay nothing. I've also not been deluged with spam from Tripod.

A bibliography is a list of your sources that you might use for your research paper. YOU NEED NOT HAVE READ THESE YET--instead, you are collecting POTENTIAL sources you might use later.

Each source should have all that is needed to be a FULL CITATION, so that others can locate your sources.
A FULL CITATION usually includes: author's name, title of article, title of journal/book/newspaper/etc, year published, where and whom published, page numbers.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO INCLUDE FOR EACH SOURCE???
HOW DO I CITE A WEBPAGE?
HOW DO I CITE AN INTERVIEW?
